Fiscal integration health checks

Let Bagelog report your invoices to the tax authority for you. Here is how to connect, how to confirm everything is healthy, and what to check before you contact us.

Which integrations are available

  • Portugal: automatic invoice communication with the Autoridade Tributária e Aduaneira (AT) is available today.
  • Belgium: invoices to your Belgian clients on Peppol are delivered over the network automatically, with nothing to set up. Add your client's Peppol ID to their details and Bagelog does the rest.

Tax authority integrations are an add-on. Activate it in Billing & Plans before you configure the connection.

Connecting to the AT

  1. In the AT portal, create a sub-user for Bagelog with the WFA and WSE permissions. This keeps your main AT password private. The How to create an AT Sub-user? guide in Bagelog walks you through it.
  2. In Bagelog, open Settings, then Integrations, and select Configure on the AT card.
  3. Enter the sub-user (your NIF followed by the user number, such as 123456789/1) and its password, then select Save & Test Connection.
  4. Register your invoice series (for example, the current year) so your invoices are numbered and validated with the AT.

Your credentials are encrypted and only used to communicate invoice data.

Checking your connection

  • The AT card in Settings, Integrations shows Connected when everything is in place.
  • Automatic Communication Active means new invoices are sent to the AT for you. If it shows as paused, switch it back on to resume.
  • Your Overview lists Pending Issues, such as a failed AT registration, so problems never go unnoticed.
  • On Invoices, the Integration column shows the registration status of each invoice.

Before you contact support

  1. New sub-user? AT permissions can take up to 24 hours to activate. If the connection fails today, try again tomorrow.
  2. Check the sub-user format: your NIF, a slash, and the user number.
  3. Changed the password in the AT portal? Select Update Credentials in Bagelog and save the new one.
  4. Check the permissions: WFA and WSE must be enabled for the sub-user.
  5. Check your invoice series: you need an active series registered.
  6. Check your add-on: the tax integration add-on must be active in Billing & Plans.
